Cherry Blossom Time

A highlight of the trip will be the National Cherry Blossom Parade, where you’ll enjoy reserved grandstand seating as floats, giant balloons, international performers, and marching bands make their way down Constitution Avenue. The journey also includes a visit to George Washington’s Mount Vernon, where you can tour the historic mansion, explore the grounds, and take in beautiful views of the Potomac River.

Your Washington experience continues with Arlington National Cemetery, including the eternal flame at President John F. Kennedy’s gravesite and the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns. You’ll also enjoy a panoramic tour of the National Mall, time at the Smithsonian Institution, and an evening view of Washington’s monuments and memorials illuminated against the night sky.

On the journey home, travel through Pennsylvania’s scenic Laurel Highlands, visit the Flight 93 National Memorial, and travel along the historic Lincoln Highway before concluding this memorable spring adventure.
